Was very excited when I read through this article, the comments on the site however are heartbreaking!

Personally, I'm glad that even after all this time there are still accomplishments to be achieved and goals to be reached. Sky's the limit for this band!

Good for them. They fucking deserve it.
They will aways get shit from guys who think they
A) sold out
B) are dad rock
C) use formulaic rock
D) whatever nirvana
E) are boring

It’s social media, people need to feel “edgy”, and hey, I sometimes leave similar comments regarding U2 or The Killers xD

Tbh I think it's pretty remarkable how little hate they get, given how popular they are. Unless you're some edgier-than-you internet warrior, it's pretty hard to dislike these guys.

These numbers don't mean much to me without a frame of reference, but I'll assume that three quarters of a million tickets is not too shabby
