That's amazing of Jeopardy to be so in the know but of course, they have to keep Alex au courant )sp? (even though he has the questions written out for him).
Great seeing you at TCV last night.

They've done it at every show I've been to, although I haven't quite captured it:

Portsmouth 11-Dec-2009
Hammersmith 17-Dec-2009
Hammersmith 18-Dec-2009

I hadn't seen it before that i remembered but again I only had seen them four times in October. Maybe it is a more recent thing, or I just missed it the times I saw them...or forgot about it.

Thumbs up Re: Them Crooked Vultures...

I don't recall them doing it at the US shows I was at either Emily, but they did it at all the Australian shows so it's obviously a more recent thing. Wish I'd gotten pics but I was too busy drooling over Joshua.

I wouldn't have believed anyone if they'd told me they could possibly get better/tighter/be having more fun than they did when I first saw them, but I'd've been wrong. The difference between Boston and Sydney was obvious. Bring on the second album and tour, I can't wait. And couldn't care less about new FF stuff.

But here, here! I think it will do them all a world of good to pursue different projects for a while, then come back and produce a badass FF record in a couple of years.

TCV record #2 - bring it!

If new FF stuff means more things like Wheels...then yes, yes, yes, bring on TCV album #2, #3, #4.....I don't have the number of shows under my belt like you Lara, but having just seen them the one time has left me wanting more in the worst way. Cannot wait for Vegas!! If it weren't for work, school and the man I share a name with, I'd seriously consider Denver as well.

Sweet, the jams are my favourite bits, they just go off into their own world and get all giggly and "whee-this-is-fun", you can see it on their faces. <3

yea! love seeing them have so much fun. the jams definitely go off on spectacular tangents. at first we're like um is that a new song? oh no its just a jam into the song.

I'm thinking about Vegas... I think we all know I'l get there. at least it's a saturday I'm just mad that I probably cant go for longer than quickie weekend due to work being super busy then. boo.

Believe me hon, it just gets worse the more you see them! Hello, my name is Lara and I'm a TCV addict.

I've got a feeling they may have done it in August at Brixton, but I could be making that up. I'll check pics when I get home.

I disagree slightly. If the Foos can bring about an album capturing some less "polished" songs and get the rock edge back, i'd be happy for them to return. Ditto live performances. I just don't think it will happen however.

Nonsense, I've seen them only 5 times and I can say with absolute confidence that I definitely am not obsessed.

I'm not working out how many European festivals I can fit in this summer that they are performing at, no sirree.

Listen, some of us couldn't afford/didn't have the holidays to do more.

5 out of the 10 gigs they have done in this country ain't too bad going (one of the 10 was Leeds and I couldn't go to that cos I was at Reading ).
