Default Can we get rid of suggest a tour stop?

Its obviously completely pointless and must account for some of the extra traffic which is causing the board to run at snails pace.

Thank you please.

Can we get rid of suggest a 100% Foo Free?

Its obviously completely pointless and does account for most of the extra traffic which is causing the board to run at snails pace.

Thank you please.

Except that people actually go into and read the Foo Free, even the mods post in there.

No one, and I repeat, NO ONE is going to suggest a 'tour stop' that hasn't already been suggested. The Foos and their road manager have globes and they've been around the world before, they're aware that places exist and that they can play there. No one suggesting shit is gonna make them think, 'you know what, we must have skipped over OHIO'.

Yeah that's because it's the most popular forum here. Without that this place would be a ghost town.

Why the fuckin' 'tude dude?

Yeah I know the first thing I took in to consideration whilst routing tours was fan's gay suggestions.

Not.

I think you forget the title of this site is "Foo Fighters Post Board". Above all this is a tool to promote the band. Ahh fuck it, I really don't care.

I fucking love Ed. I'm sorry. He's a snippy mofo but you always know what he's thinking.

The slowness of the board is due to many things. Traffic is one thing but I can almost guarantee you it isn't due to Suggest a Tour Stop. I think the Artist Forum is unecessary and Other Media as well.

This board exists because of the band. You have to remember that. The extra traffic certainly isn't because of the other forums OTHER than maybe Foo Free and General Foo.

weitzman will look into stuff on Monday. I am pretty sure he is on vacation and should be back this upcoming week. Please be patient. The slow board makes my job hard to do too so don't think we don't give a shit.

Cheers for the responses Jill and Ed.

I realise it wouldn't really effect the slowness thing too much but can't we get rid of it anyway... it really is fucking pointless I'd say the same about letters to the band too but thats pretty funny once in a while

Suggest a tour stop and letters to the band serve an important purpose. People are going to post that stuff anyway and it encourages them to post it in a place where no one ever has to read it. It's pure genius!
