I suppose Western Springs is better than Mt Smart (probably as I have seen some AWESOME concerts there, but I'm on the same wave with you guys as far as stadiums go....argh!
Nothing will ever top Ak Town Hall....*sigh*

Western Springs, it'll be like how concerts used to be before the Vector monolith.

Sydney Football Stadium is a bit strange (I was expecting the Acer, everything goes in the Acer), but I approve as it's about 30 mins walk from my place.

Might see if I can swing tickets to Melbourne and head to that show too. Very excited now.

I couldn't care less where they are playing in Melb, l am just happy they are coming. I hope they do 2 Melb shows though, otherwise l might go to Sydney too.

EJ- I thought Gold Coast was a strange choice, maybe because they did Bris for the flood benefit last time do you think?

I'd say it would be because of the flood relief gig, the dates are still spread apart, if Gold coast sells out they might announce a Brisbane show? Just let me hope that's the case

Sorry for being such an insistent tosser last night. I was in a bad place mentally, having just had a tiff with a friend of 20+ years.

Annnnnnyway, I'm doing Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast. Possibly Adelaide. I've never followed a band before so I'm really looking forward to it, providing I get tickets, that is. I'll cry if I miss out. No, really.

I have decided to go to Melb, Adelaide and Sydney. And yes, Modtang...if we can all get tickets. *Fingers crossed* Its really tricky to get the pre sale ones. I did that with Metallica...took absolutely ages, but I got there in the end.

Sweet, Sal. I think I'm gonna do Adelaide but I'm just pricing airfares and accommodation first. I don't want to go too insane.

Goodluck with that! My kids sat on the bench ALL DAY on Friday trying to win tickets, one on the landline the other on my mobile, no hope and they know the start of the song as soon as it comes on. l don't really have an issue with then giving away tickets l just think they should do some little quiz so true fans win not just first caller. l will just try the "good old fashioned way" to get tickets when they go on sale.
