So this one kinda leaves even me struggling for words. Mostly because I lost my job last June and it's been a fun game trying to find work (in what I do) since then. So if that had happened any earlier there's no way I would be getting this since I spent nothing in the store after July 2015 except for a "fuck it" Saint Cecilia order in Nov.

There's no way the band knew that. There's no way they knew the day they shipped it to me was the day I got a call for a job interview for a pretty special job. Or that after another interview, a bunch of special clearance checks and referee checks I'd get the job, or that this would arrive on Mon 14th March and I start the new job on Weds 16th.

There's no way to explain why I popped in and read the Saint Cecilia Vinyl EP thread to find out there had been special keys sent out, just as I was about to tell my shipping co in the States to destroy the extra parcel that had been sent, because I thought it was just the free wrapping paper that was included with my St C order, and it wasn't worth paying more postage to get it.

I've lost count of the times I've used the word "karma" in my posts on Foo stuff. It's gone from odd, to bizarre, to surreal. And if the above wasn't enough they even gave me that damn recurring number... "17" once again. I really do wonder how much attention is paid to what goes on here.

I wish everyone could hold this heavy fucking thing. I'm not sure off the bat if it's solid silver but it feels and looks like it. Best I can do is post lots of pics of the box, the key, beside the pewter one too, and of course Nate's two page letter. Not signed but fuck it the boys are on a well deserved break.

I love you brothers - for over 20 years you've made the good times great, and the bad times bearable. Here's to at least 20 more.

You're welcome! Pretty pointless not showing the actual letter, it's all part of the "pack" to us collectors - you'd never want just part of it if you came across one for sale. And for everyone else it's another bit of band history.

Sorry about the watermark - I just felt throwing it up publicly as a straight scan or without something on it was just too easy to be copied by some nutjob selling silver painted pewter keys. I just know it could happen .

This was interesting if only for the fact it's the first time I've ever seen someone associate a number with the SH box set - 2500. I'd have thought higher, and could just be a guess, but seller does have 56k feedback so wouldn't be in their best interests to be throwing out a number.

I mean it seems like a reasonable number, I might've expected closer to 1000/1500 but 2500 isn't unbelievable.
