I need to make this show. Flying home two days before this is simply not an option. Foos AND Eddie Vedder..I have to be there!

I'm ready for this even if it means driving right after another concert on Saturday. October is looking so good - this will be my 5th Foo show that month.

Seats or lawn. It is an outdoor amphitheater.

HARD to get tickets. I live literally 10 minutes from the venue and it has been a huge deal for years. Lawn are easier to get then seats.

Last year's shows sold out within 2 minutes. This is the 25th anniversary, so it may be more difficult than usual. I was at the first one, really want to be at the 25th. Last year it rained all weekend, if you go, buy those cheap little rain ponchos from the drugstore.

Sometimes good seats pop up the day before or the day of the show. I took the chance last year but nothing came up, and I didn't want to be on the lawn in the rain.

Ah but being on the lawn in the rain was half the fun...well, I can say that now looking back on it. But I'm pretty sure at the time, I was thinking "dear lord, I wish I had a seat."

Honestly I did get tickets once but I paid for them. I wasn't talking about me though. My husband is not a fan of the $160 ish dollar ticket price.

It is a BENEFIT for the Bridge School for special needs kids so that's why the high price. Charity and all that!

yeah, it's not too bad if you think about it being for a good cause. Plus, for me it's likely to remain a once in a lifetime thing, so I might as well spend my last money on something worthwhile.
